The Video: Earth Day 2020

Greetings and thank you for joining me now for this meditation celebrating Earth Day and our dear blue green planet.  We thank Mother Earth for this sacred time and space.  May this healing be for the greatest good.

April 22nd is the 50th anniversary of the 1st Earth Day in 1970.  I was there. Were you?  Were you even born? I was 23 then. But now in 2020, we are facing unimaginable situations.  As you well know, we are going through the pandemic of COVID-19 and the climate crisis.  Both are linked – radically affecting the world as we have never realized. And yet, we have faith in our wise actions to grow with science, compassion, and reverence – culminating in human health and climate resilience.

This is my new video meditation for Earth Day 2020 that you can do now.

Here is a special complimentary offer for you:

Earth Day = Embracing Earth = Every Day

It’s April 22nd and all around the world, there are events to help our planet rejuvenate and stop climate change. Due to the pandemic of COVID-19, these are digital in 2020 since we cannot gather in person but nevertheless, we must take action to halt and then reverse this climate crisis and this plague.

We can each do simple acts each and every day to be part of the solution:  recycling, using reusable bags instead of plastic, turning off electricity when not in use, cloth napkins, and reusable straws. These all help! And of course, for COVID-19 we need to do social distancing, stay at home and wash our hands.

This audio,
Embracing Earth,” can also help. It gives you the ability to be in touch with your aspiration for the health of the planet – and yourself – anywhere and anytime.

“Embracing Earth is a 20-minute audio meditation with music. You will revitalize yourself and our planet while intimately feeling your own connection with Nature.

You can hear it on SpotifyJust go to Search and put in my name, Miriam Belov.

Here are two quotes from the 4 very wise people in the audio.

“The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature, and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be.” Anne Frank

“As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives.” Henry David Thoreau

The journey in creating this audio began with my participation in the 1st Earth Day in 1970.  I was aware of the fragility of our climate then but never thought that I would be seeing such extreme weather in my own lifetime.  It is occurring everywhere, on each continent, during every season.

So many people are being affected by climate change that a psychiatrist suggested renaming it climate instability. You know what that means. One day it is freezing and the next it is in the upper 60s. It is affecting you personally with concerns for your family and its welfare to friends in California and the wildfires that spread seemingly instantly catching people in their homes and on the highways as they fled. Sadly Australia experienced firestorms and then flooding in 2019.

These radical shifts in nature are causing you stress and anxiety. Embracing Earth helps you relax and rejuvenate.

You need to step up and do your part. You will feel much better about being proactive and involved! Whatever it is: small or large, personal or planetary. The time is now.

As a pioneering expert, I have been teaching about ecology and meditation to the diplomatic corps of the United Nations, people in New Jersey and across the US via the media and to residents of the international city of Auroville in South India.

is an expression of over 35 years of global work so that You can easily be part of the positive outcome.  It is filled with powerful intentional meditations and visualizations.

The United Nations’ report of last October stated that conditions have accelerated to such a point that there is only a 12-year window to correct the course.

The Great Law of the Native American Iroquois includes the concept of thinking seven generations ahead, about 140 years into the future, to consider if decisions made now would be of benefit to them. Today this concept resonates for sustainability and environmental stewardship.  Do you have seven generation stewardship?!  It is simple: just think of your children and grandchildren and the world you wish for them.

Listen to “Embracing Earth” and be part of the solution at this critical time. It will help to save our planet and you.

I am happy to offer 4 people a complimentary link to the download of “Embracing Earth”.  Just go to my website, www.wellnessagenda.com, and fill out the form on the right with your information.
