Happy New Year/Decade/You

It is here: a new year, an opportunity to change, grow and transform into a new you. How amazing to be at the beginning of even a new decade!

May you do as well as you can the best thing to be done in each and every moment.

Many experiences are available for you to let go of that which no longer serves you and to bring in that which helps you. Release those people, emotions, and places which constrict you. Dissipate them in order to make room for the new which expands and supports you.

An effective ritual is to light a candle. Make a list of what you want to let go. Be specific. Burn it with gratitude and humility. Now, make a list of what you want to bring into your life. Be specific. Place that on your meditation table or in a special place with gratitude and empowerment.

I stand with you to transform your fear into courage, procrastination into action, illness into comfort, confusion into purpose.

On top of all of this, 2020 is a leap year with the extra day of February 29th. It’s icing on the cake to give you even more time to go deep and recognize what you truly desire. Declutter and then you can clarify all areas of your life: your health, vocation, relationships, abundance. You can now visualize with focus for your intentions to manifest.

This is certainly an auspicious year, a golden supramental one. Make the most of it!

Antelope Canyon on Navajo land in Arizona

The Navajo use the phrase “Walking in Beauty” as a blessing to convey being in balance with nature, the life cycles and the universe. It is about being in health, wisdom, happiness and harmony with both the mundane and the divine.

The following is the closing Prayer from the Navajo Way Blessing Ceremony. It is entitled “Walking in Beauty”.

Walking in Beauty

In beauty I walk

With beauty before me I walk

With beauty behind me I walk

With beauty above me I walk

With beauty around me I walk

It has become beauty again

Today I will walk out, today everything negative will leave me

I will be as I was before, I will have a cool breeze over my body.

I will have a light body, I will be happy forever, nothing will hinder me.

I walk with beauty before me. I walk with beauty behind me.

I walk with beauty below me. I walk with beauty above me.

I walk with beauty around me. My words will be beautiful.

In beauty all day long may I walk.

Through the returning seasons, may I walk.

On the trail marked with pollen may I walk.

With dew about my feet, may I walk.

With beauty before me may I walk.

With beauty behind me may I walk.

With beauty below me may I walk.

With beauty above me may I walk.

With beauty all around me may I walk.

In old age wandering on a trail of beauty, lively, may I walk.

In old age wandering on a trail of beauty, living again, may I walk.
My words will be beautiful…

May you walk your own path in beauty.
