Gratitude is when you honor those people, experiences, or other emotions that are precious to you. It is the two-way exchange of appreciation between your thanks and the positive response that you feel in return. Gratitude is one of the most powerful emotions you can experience. Allow it to fill your mind body spirit.
Here are 3 ways you can invite more gratitude into your life:
- Connect with nature. Appreciate the sunlight, smell the flowers, admire the beauty in a sunset. Nature nurtures us and provides us with health and rejuvenation. It is very important to recognize the fragility of the environment and take care of it as she takes care of us.

2. Keep a gratitude journal. Write 5 things each day that you’re grateful for. This can be about people, experiences, or other emotions. You can make a simple list or write a lot about each item. Do whatever feels good to you.
Get a journal which resonates for you in its beauty and elegance. Use a special pen. Enjoy the process of writing.
3. Reach out to someone in your life. Call on the phone, send a text or even a letter! You will feel happy about the relationship and so will they.
We humans need each other, especially in our high tech/low touch culture. It is the connection that you feel to whom is truly important in your life. To feel this bond is to be grateful for your family and friends in your circle of life.
