Damon Brandt’s creative process has included music as a central part. Studying piano at the age of 9, he later became an award-winning performer playing at Town Hall in NYC. In college he studied flute with which he has maintained a dedicated practice ever since. While in Santa Fe, New Mexico he was introduced to the Native American flute by Indigenous musician Walking Star who became his teacher. His global travels as an art dealer have included ceremonial traditions where music plays an integral role. It has been an honor for Damon to incorporate the Native American flute into sound meditation, using its breath driven tones to support relaxation and inner stillness.
