Valentine’s Day w/Self-Love

February is the month of love.  The 14th is Valentine’s Day with red hearts everywhere and the time to celebrate this very powerful emotion.  Traditionally it is a holiday to acknowledge love for another person.  I am expanding the concept to include love for yourself.  This is from where all other love can sincerely grow.

Self-love sheds light for you along your path of inner growth, awareness, and joy as you move from stress into calm and power. I stand with you to transform your fear into courage, procrastination into action, illness into comfort, confusion into purpose.

It allows you to experience compassion and forgiveness for yourself.  The more you accept these feelings to heal yourself, the more empowered you are.

Truly embracing all the parts of yourself in unconditional acceptance comes from your heart.  As you open your heart, you are able to also receive the love that surrounds you more fully.

The Navajo use the phrase “Walking in Beauty” as a blessing to convey being in balance with yourself, nature, the life cycles, and the universe. I have posted it below.*

May you walk your path in beauty as you explore these 3 major stages of self- love to be your own best friend, here and now.

Prepare for 2022 with Intention

This year is filled with possibilities and opportunities.

1. As you list 5 intentions, your path into 2022 will become clear and exciting.
2. The actions may change but the alignment of an inner aspiration remains steady.
3. It is crucial for you to find the time and space to be in your calm center so that you can hear your own voice and heartfelt musings.  Then you will be able to create authentic intentions for yourself.

Living Your True Purpose with Passion

Jane Fonda’s quote is also below.**

Another step on this path is identifying your passion and how it functions in your life.

1. What are your personal and professional life purposes?
2. There is also a 3rd purpose you need to identify: your profound purpose. It is the overriding arc of your life.  It is the expression of your soul.
3. Your profound purpose ideally merges with the first 2 into an aspiration that you can express and live with in passionate integrity.

Reiki: Energy Healing

Now is the perfect time to boost your health as you are in the midst of winter and the plague of COVID-19 is still here. Love yourself with the gift of Reiki.

1. Reiki promotes health for the body as well as on subtler energy levels – including the mental, psychic and emotional. It is a powerful noninvasive method.
2. When we experience disease or emotional stress, our life force energy lessens. Reiki adds the needed and additional energy to lessen stress, treat illness and acute and chronic conditions.
3. Past lives can be explored as they relate to issues in this one.

My gift to you during the month of February is special pricing when you schedule a private healing session that includes meditation techniques for you – or someone you love – to learn. I also do past life readings which are especially insightful at this time.

*Walking in Beauty: Closing Prayer from the Navajo Way Blessing Ceremony

In beauty I walk.
With beauty before me I walk.
With beauty behind me I walk.
With beauty above me I walk.
With beauty around me I walk.
It has become beauty again.
Today I will walk out, today everything negative will leave me.
I will be as I was before, I will have a cool breeze over my body.
I will have a light body, I will be happy forever, nothing will hinder me.
I walk with beauty before me. I walk with beauty behind me.
I walk with beauty below me. I walk with beauty above me.
I walk with beauty around me. My words will be beautiful.
In beauty all day long may I walk.
Through the returning seasons, may I walk.
On the trail marked with pollen may I walk.
With dew about my feet, may I walk.
With beauty before me may I walk.
With beauty behind me may I walk.
With beauty below me may I walk.
With beauty above me may I walk.
With beauty all around me may I walk.
In old age wandering on a trail of beauty, lively, may I walk.
In old age wandering on a trail of beauty, living again, may I walk.
My words will be beautiful…

**Jane Fonda’s quote:

“We’re still living with the old paradigm of age as an arch. That’s the old metaphor: You’re born, you peak at midlife and decline into decrepitude… A more appropriate metaphor for aging is a staircase.  The upward ascension of the human spirit, bringing us into wisdom, wholeness, and authenticity.”
