EcoSpirit: In the Movies

It’s Earth Month in 2025! What have you been doing to lessen the climate crisis? Please list 3 actions that you do daily. Here are mine: recycling, using as little water as possible, walking whenever I can.

Since the first Earth Day in 1970, I have been aware of the fragility of our Earth and have brought attention to it through various initiatives. Embracing Earth, an audio download to help revitalize our planet and yourself, is available on my website here.

This year, I’ve been able to expand the message by working with Herflix, an innovative platform of film and entertainment for, about, and by women.  Founded by Adriana Shaw, French Forbes wrote that ”Herflix is poised to become the next global brand for women.” Subscription is free!

EcoSpirit is a new channel I suggested.
Sustainability, inspiration and ecology are its main themes.

We’re showing full length films -some classic Hollywood/some from emerging global filmmakers, documentaries and animation. Anything that can meet Herflix’s standards and elucidate a great story is being curated.

Here are 3 examples:
An Inconvenient Truth  by Al Gore

The Owl-Eyed Guardian and the Banyan Dream  by Alessandra Silver

Miriam @Nakashima   Intentional Meditations
by Miriam Belov

Herflix is premiering EcoSpirit this month in honor of Earth Month. Buy your ticket or go for free (yes, some of the movies are free!). Gather around the electric fireplace or just watch from any device.

As the feminine rises, so does our embrace of the natural world.

Share what you have seen and do something to ensure that women, men, and all species can continue living on and with our Earth.
